Alvin is a powerhouse in the beauty industry — a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, and makeup artist with over a decade of hands-on experience behind the chair and on set. His journey began in 2009, driven by a deep love for transformation, artistry, and education.

A graduate of The Skin Institute Internationale (2016) and Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks (2022), Alvin’s commitment to mastery doesn’t stop at the classroom. In 2025, he received specialized training with curly hair expert and innovator Presley Poe as the shadow contest winner for Presley Poe & Friends — an experience that further refined his expertise in advanced curl cutting, texture work, and intentional shaping.

As a curly hair specialist, Alvin is deeply passionate about working with all textures and identities. He believes curls are not a trend — they’re a legacy. His approach is rooted in education, helping clients understand their hair, care for their scalp, and confidently maintain their look between visits.

His work has graced magazine pages, lit up fashion runways, and appeared on television and film sets — but his heart lives in personalized, one-on-one transformations. He specializes in precision curly haircuts, scalp-focused treatments, anti-aging firming facials, brightening facials, lived-in balayage, and dimensional color. With refined makeup artistry skills, he effortlessly creates everything from natural radiance to full glam.
